Foster Man Dies in Connecticut Home Crash.

KILLINGLY, Conn. (WJAR) — A Foster man died in a crash on Route 101 west on Wednesday night.

According to Connecticut State Police, a 2023 Sierra failed to navigate a curve, causing it to leave the roadway. The vehicle struck multiple mailboxes, a street sign, and a home on 1348 Hartford Pike, which sustained significant damage.

Authorities confirmed that the driver, 42-year-old Matthew Sherman, was at the scene. The home was unoccupied at the time of the incident.

The crash is currently under investigation.
