WINDHAM, NH — A man was killed Sunday afternoon when his vehicle veered off North Lowell Road and landed in a marshy area.
The incident occurred around 2:41 p.m. Fire officials reported that only one vehicle was involved. Emergency responders from the Windham Fire Department arrived on the scene and pronounced the driver dead, though his identity has not yet been released.
Authorities said the crash resulted in lane closures while first responders worked at the scene, and the vehicle had to be towed from the swamp. An investigation into the cause of the accident is ongoing.
