URBANA — A crash on South Lincoln Avenue resulted in a fatality on Saturday, with emergency services responding shortly after 12:30 p.m.

Authorities identified the deceased motorcyclist as 39-year-old John K. Goeken of Savoy. He was at 1:26 p.m. at Carle Foundation Hospital, according to Champaign County Coroner Laurie Brauer. An autopsy is scheduled, and the investigation is ongoing.
