Driver Killed in Crash on Route 100 in Lowell, Vermont
A 47-year-old man died following a single-vehicle accident on Route 100 in Lowell, Vermont, on Friday morning.
According to Vermont State Police, Jason Metras of Troy was involved in the crash around 10:13 a.m. His vehicle left the highway, rolled over, and came to rest in a field off the roadway. Metras was ejected from the car and pronounced dead at the scene, located just south of Westfield.
No other vehicles were involved in the incident. Authorities are asking any witnesses to contact them at 802-334-8881 to provide information related to the crash. The investigation remains ongoing.
