Motorcyclist Dies Following Crash in Waterbury
A motorcyclist died after a collision with a car in Waterbury on Tuesday evening.
According to authorities, the incident occurred shortly after 5 p.m. at the intersection of East Main Street and Baldwin Street. The motorcyclist, identified as 41-year-old Dennis Barriera of Waterbury, was transported to a hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
The driver of the car remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation. No additional injuries have been reported.
