ALBANY, NY — Donald Andrews Jr. faces 2 to 6 years in prison following a guilty plea related to a 2024 vehicle crash near Crossgates Mall.
According to the Albany County District Attorney's Office, the incident occurred on April 15, 2024, involving two vehicles on Albany Shaker Road. The crash resulted in serious injuries to one occupant, who required medical aid at the scene.
Authorities reported that Andrews, 25, pleaded guilty to charges stemming from the crash. Emergency services, including the Albany Fire Department and local police, responded to the scene and managed traffic flow during the investigation. Towing services were utilized to remove the vehicles, and one lane of Albany Shaker Road was temporarily closed.
