OCALA, Fla. — Ocala Police on Saturday arrested two 18-year-olds after separate social media stunts at a Culver's and a Target.
According to the Ocala Police Department, Janek Szkaradek and Luke Charske, both 18, were taken into custody Saturday in connection with incidents reported Friday and Saturday.
Authorities said Szkaradek used a leaf blower inside a Culver's off SW College Road on Friday, creating a safety concern for employees and customers.
On Saturday, Szkaradek allegedly drove a lawnmower through the entrance of a Target store while Charske recorded the act on video, police said.
Authorities said Szkaradek was booked on criminal mischief and disorderly conduct tied to both incidents. Charske was booked on one count of disorderly conduct for recording the stunt.
Officials said the actions endangered people inside the businesses and caused unnecessary property damage. Police warned that such social media stunts carry legal consequences.
