West Valley City, UT. – One person was killed in a two-car crash that left two other people on Saturday night in West Valley City.
According to the West Valley City Police Department, the accident happened around 8 p.m. on 4100 South at Mountain View Corridor.
A vehicle was traveling westbound on 4100 South and may have run the red light before it collided with a vehicle traveling southbound on Mountain View Corridor.
A female passenger of one of the cars had to be extricated before being taken to hospital where she later died.
Both drivers were injured in the accident and were taken to the hospital for treatment.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
