One person was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after a collision between a motorcycle and an SUV at Glen Arvin Avenue and Georgetown Street on Wednesday, according to Lexington Fire Department (LFD).
The Collision Reconstruction Unit is investigating the incident.

Lexington police responded to a crash involving a motorcycle and an SUV at Glen Arvin Avenue and Georgetown Street on Wednesday.
Lexington Kentucky Emergency Management reported Georgetown Street is closed between Glen Arvin Avenue and Douglas Avenue until further notice.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area as emergency personnel manage the scene.
