Fatal Crash on Dixie Highway Involves Bucket Truck and Pickup
LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A 55-year-old man died early Thursday in a collision involving a bucket truck on Dixie Highway.
The incident occurred at approximately 8 a.m. near Trent Avenue. According to authorities, a pickup truck rear-ended a United utility bucket truck, resulting in the pickup driver being transported to the hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. The victim has been identified as George Hill Jr. of Louisville.
No other injuries were reported. The Louisville Metro Police Department (LMPD) Traffic Unit is conducting an investigation into the crash. Further details have not yet been disclosed.
