CROSS LANES, W.Va. (WCHS) — A two-vehicle crash on Washington Street West resulted in multiple injuries and temporary roadway closures on October 4.
The collision occurred just before 4:30 p.m. in the 4800 block, according to METRO 911. Authorities confirmed that the incident was a head-on collision, resulting in one driver being ejected from their vehicle.
Four individuals were transported from the scene for medical treatment, with one sustaining a severe laceration above the eye, according to the Kanawha County Sheriff's Office.
Roadway closures began at around 5 p.m. and lasted approximately two and a half hours as emergency responders attended to the scene.
