WASHINGTON (7NEWS) — A child was critically injured in a hit-and-run involving an ATV in Northwest D.C. on April 4.
Emergency responders arrived at the intersection of 14th Street and Chapin Street, NW, around 6:52 p.m. after reports of the incident. The young boy, found unconscious but breathing, was transported to a local hospital with critical injuries, according to the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD).
Authorities confirmed that the driver of the ATV fled the scene. The suspect is described as a man wearing all black with dreadlocks and riding a lime green and white ATV.
