Winona, WI. – Two people were injured in a head-on collision on Wednesday evening in Winona.
According to the Buffalo County Sheriff's Office, the accident happened around 7:30 p.m. on Highway 54 near Depot Road.
An 18-year-old woman from Union Grove, Wis., was driving a car southbound when she reportedly lost control, overcorrected, and hit an oncoming vehicle driven by a 36-year-old Trempealeau woman.
The 18-year-old woman was hospitalized with minor injuries.
The woman driving the second car was hospitalized with minor injuries.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
