Authorities are investigating a crash involving a Honda Pilot that struck a home daycare porch in Mattapan on Friday at 1:45 p.m.
The incident occurred on Cummins Highway, causing significant damage to the front stairs of the residence. Emergency services secured the area.
According to the Boston Police Department, the driver sustained minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital. There were no individuals in the daycare at the time of the incident.
The investigation is ongoing, and it remains unclear if the driver will face any charges.
