NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A 17-year-old male was killed in a single-vehicle crash early Sunday on Dickerson Pike, according to police.
The incident occurred around 12:30 a.m. in the 3800 block of Dickerson Pike. Preliminary reports indicate the driver lost control of a Tesla Model 3 while heading southbound, causing the vehicle to cross multiple lanes of traffic, strike a concrete pole, and overturn.
Emergency responders transported the driver to Skyline Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. Authorities confirmed that he was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident and noted no signs of impairment.
