A serious multi-vehicle accident on Interstate 295 South in Cherry Hill caused significant lane closures on October 6, resulting in injuries to multiple individuals.
Authorities reported that the crash occurred at approximately 3:15 p.m. involving three vehicles, including a pickup truck and two sedans. Emergency responders from the Camden County Fire Department and local police arrived shortly after the incident.
At least two individuals sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to Cooper University Hospital. The exact number of injured and the extent of their injuries have not been confirmed.
Traffic on I-295 South was significantly delayed for over two hours as crews worked to clear the scene. One lane has since reopened, but full lane access is expected to resume after the investigation concludes.
