A 25-year-old man from New York died Sunday after his vehicle crashed on State Highway 284 in Sussex County, authorities said.
The incident occurred at 2:02 p.m. near milepost 7 in Wantage Township, according to the New Jersey State Police.
Authorities reported that a Chevrolet passenger vehicle traveling north left the roadway, struck multiple trees, and overturned. The driver, identified as Andrew Slagle of Westtown, New York, sustained fatal injuries.
The New Jersey State Police are conducting an investigation into the accident. No further details are currently available.
