Rehoboth Beach Waterpark Closes After Hit-and-Run Crash
REHOBOTH BEACH, DE – Jungle Jim's Waterpark closed on July 18 following a hit-and-run incident that damaged the facility's main power transformer.
The crash occurred overnight when a vehicle struck a fence before colliding with a utility box on Country Club Road. Authorities reported that the driver fled the scene.
According to owner Bill Lingo, Delmarva Power is currently conducting repairs on the transformer.
Delaware State Police are investigating the incident and urge anyone with information regarding the suspect vehicle or driver to contact Trooper O. Wilson at 302-644-5020.
