GREGORY — A fatal UTV crash occurred Saturday afternoon, claiming the life of a Gregory man.
Brett David Oliver, 53, was driving a 2016 Honda UTV south on 339th Avenue near 292nd Street when the vehicle left the roadway, descended an embankment, and rolled into a creek. The incident took place approximately three miles south of Gregory, according to the South Dakota Highway Patrol.
Oliver was transported to a nearby hospital but succumbed to his injuries. The exact time of the crash is still under investigation; preliminary reports indicate it happened around 4:47 p.m. Authorities have stated that all information released thus far is initial and subject to change.
