BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — A crash in Boise on Saturday afternoon resulted in the death of one driver.
The victim has been identified as 83-year-old Shirley Lovett, according to the Ada County Coroner.
At approximately 2:30 p.m. on March 14, Boise Police responded to the intersection of N. Cloverdale Road and W. Executive Drive. Authorities reported that Lovett was traveling north on Cloverdale when she failed to stop at a red light. A second vehicle, which was traveling west on Executive, collided with Lovett's car.
Lovett was transported to a local hospital but succumbed to her injuries, according to police. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
