BOISE COUNTY — A single-vehicle crash on Arrowrock Road resulted in the deaths of a 38-year-old man and a juvenile on Saturday afternoon.
At approximately 2 p.m. on March 7, Idaho State Police (ISP) responded to the incident near mile marker 19.
According to ISP, a family from Star, Idaho, was traveling north in a GMC truck when the driver, a 38-year-old man, swerved to avoid another vehicle. The truck veered close to the road's edge and rolled into nearby water.
A 35-year-old female passenger and a juvenile managed to escape and were taken to a hospital via ambulance, both suffering minor injuries. The driver and a second juvenile were pronounced dead at the scene.
All occupants were wearing seatbelts, authorities reported. The Boise County Sheriff's Office assisted ISP at the scene.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
