HILLSBORO, N.D. — A Hillsboro man died in a rollover crash on Sunday, Nov. 9, according to the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
The accident occurred at approximately 6:26 p.m. on Traill County Road 13 near the 16300 block, where a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Rollin Eberhardt, 66, veered off the roadway and rolled. Authorities reported that Eberhardt was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the incident.
Eberhardt was transported to a local hospital but succumbed to his injuries before an air transfer to Fargo could occur, the Highway Patrol confirmed.
Emergency responders included the Traill County Sheriff's Office, Hillsboro Fire Department, Hillsboro Ambulance, and Sanford Air Med. The Highway Patrol stated that its investigation into the crash is ongoing.
Hillsboro is located approximately 42 miles north of Fargo.
