Morton County, N.D. – A man was killed in a car crash that left two other people injured on Thursday morning in Morton County.
According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, the fatal crash happened on Highway 49.
A car was trying to pass a semi-truck when it collided head-on with an SUV that was traveling in the opposite direction.
A passenger in the car was killed in the crash.
The driver of the car was injured in the accident and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
The SUV driver was airlifted to the hospital with serious injuries.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
