JEFFERSON, W.Va. (WCHS) — A single-vehicle crash occurred at 7 p.m. Sunday on MacCorkle Avenue, prompting temporary road closures, according to the Kanawha County Sheriff's Office.
The incident took place in the 6500 block, where the vehicle was found on its side and smoking. Airbags deployed, but deputies confirmed that no injuries were reported.
Emergency crews responded to the scene, and the eastbound lanes were shut down for cleanup. The road has since reopened. An investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
