Fatal Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Crash Under Investigation Near Milford
MILFORD, DE – A 74-year-old Harrington man died following a hit-and-run pedestrian crash on Milford-Harrington Highway on March 23 at approximately 8:10 p.m., according to the Delaware State Police.
Authorities said the man was walking westbound on the highway, near Church Hill Road, when an unidentified vehicle, traveling westbound, struck him and fled the scene. Emergency responders transported the man to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. His identity is being withheld pending family notification.
The roadway was closed during the investigation and scene clearance.
