A car hit a utility pole around 7 a.m. Oct. 29 in downtown Columbus, cutting power to a few hundred customers.
According to a Columbus police dispatcher, downed wires were reported and no injuries were noted.
Police shut down westbound Nationwide Boulevard while AEP crews made repairs, authorities said.
