Popular Race Car Driver and TV Personality Killed in Crash at Ohio Drag Strip

SOUTH WEBSTER, Ohio — A drag racer died Saturday night after a crash at KD Motorsports Park in Scioto County, according to the racetrack.

The driver was identified as Chris “Block” Gordon, a “Street Outlaws: Fastest in America” racer, according to WCHS and KD Motorsports Park.

Rescue and EMS staff administered life-saving measures, but Gordon died at the scene, according to WCHS.

The racetrack canceled the remainder of the night’s activities and asked for prayers for Gordon’s family and the responders, according to KD Motorsports Park.
