MEADE COUNTY, Ky. (LEX News) — Kentucky State Police are investigating a crash early Sunday morning in Meade County that resulted in two fatalities and one serious injury.
According to authorities, the incident occurred around 1 a.m. on Old Mill Road when a vehicle crossed the center line and collided with another vehicle.
Trenton Thomas, 26, and Karlie Haycraft, 29, were pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the second vehicle, Isaac Jenkins, 26, was airlifted to a Louisville hospital in critical condition.
Emergency services responded promptly, and the investigation into the crash continues.
