Two Killed in Motorcycle Crash in Jackson County, IN
JACKSON COUNTY, Ind. — Two individuals died in a multi-vehicle collision involving a motorcycle on Saturday afternoon.
Emergency responders were dispatched to the 2600 block of State Road 135, near Vallonia, at approximately 2:41 p.m. According to the Jackson County Sheriff's Department, a motorcycle traveling southbound collided with a northbound car.
Following the initial impact, the motorcycle crossed into the northbound lanes and struck a second vehicle. The motorcycle operator, 35-year-old Brandon Goodhue, and his passenger, 26-year-old Desiree Freiberger, succumbed to their injuries at the scene.
Authorities stated that the Jackson County Sheriff's Office and Indiana State Police are conducting an ongoing investigation into the incident.
