LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Several vehicles were involved in an injury crash Thursday morning on I-264, causing significant delays.
The incident occurred shortly after 9 a.m. at Westport Rd., leading to a complete shutdown of all lanes on the Watterson Expressway. Authorities reported that multiple fire and police units, along with at least one ambulance, responded to the scene.
By 9:45 a.m., the far left lane was reopened, allowing some traffic to flow. However, significant congestion remains, with backups reported as far as I-71. Drivers are advised to avoid the area.
