FLOYD COUNTY, Ind. — A 14-year-old girl was killed in a crash on I-265 in Floyd County on Sunday at 5:30 p.m.
The Jefferson County Coroner's Office identified her as Abigail Garber from Fort Wayne. She died from blunt force trauma.
The collision involved a Ford Explorer and a Ford F-350 near the State Street exit. A 16-year-old sustained serious injuries, while two adults suffered minor, non-life-threatening injuries.
Authorities reported that the investigation is ongoing, and no charges have been filed at this time.
