I-265 Eastbound Near State Street Closed Due to Serious Injury Crash
NEW ALBANY, Ind. — All eastbound lanes of I-265 and the left lane of I-265 westbound near State Street are closed following a serious injury collision, according to New Albany Police.
The crash occurred around 6 p.m. on Sunday at the State Street interchange.
Emergency responders found a female victim with serious injuries; she was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Her current condition is unknown.
Authorities reported that the accident is under investigation and cautioned drivers to expect delays in the area for approximately two hours.
