EDGEWOOD, Ky. — A head-on collision Tuesday, July 28, just before 4 p.m. at Turkeyfoot Road and Colony Drive killed one driver and injured another.
According to the Kenton County Police, officers from three agencies responded to the crash in Edgewood.
Investigators said a 2024 Chevrolet Silverado traveling south on Turkeyfoot Road crossed the center median into the northbound lanes and struck a 2019 Lexus NX.
The pickup driver, Stephen Mullen of Edgewood, was pronounced dead at St. Elizabeth Hospital, authorities said.
The Lexus driver, Lawrence G. Herbst of Cincinnati, was treated at the scene and flown by UC Medical Helicopter; police said he remains in serious condition.
