SERIOUS CRASH IMPACTS TRAFFIC IN ABINGTON, MASSACHUSETTS
Abington, MA – Authorities responded to a serious crash on Washington Street at approximately 8 a.m. Wednesday.
Abington Police confirmed they are on the scene near 877 Washington Street, where first responders are investigating and clearing the area. State Police reported serious injuries and have referred further inquiries to the Plymouth County District Attorney's Office.
Video from the scene shows a heavily damaged red SUV off the roadway next to a large tree.
Washington Street is closed between Central Street and Lincoln Boulevard. Authorities advise the public to avoid the area, seek alternate routes, and expect significant traffic delays.
