Traffic Incident on I-24 EB Near Mile Marker 29
I-24 Eastbound at mile marker 29 is reduced to two lanes due to an incident involving a bread truck that left the roadway and resulted in a crash and diesel spill.
Authorities reported that approximately 175 gallons of diesel fuel have spilled, prompting Hazmat teams to respond for cleanup. The incident has led to lane closures, and as of now, the estimated clearance time is 5 p.m.
Emergency services are on the scene; however, there have been no confirmed reports of injuries or fatalities associated with the crash. The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident is ongoing.
