A 19-year-old man was killed in a head-on collision at an intersection on Columbus's Southeast Side on Oct. 24.
Rashard Brown, of the Southeast Side, was driving eastbound in a 2018 Honda Civic on East Innis Avenue when he drifted left of center and collided with a westbound 2020 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck at the intersection of East Innis and Kelton avenues around 4:38 p.m., according to a Columbus police crash report.
Brown was transported in critical condition to OhioHealth Grand Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 5:19 p.m. The driver of the Silverado was hospitalized in stable condition.
The Columbus Police Accident Investigation Unit is currently investigating the crash. Authorities encourage anyone with information to contact the unit at 614-645-4767.
