97-Year-Old Woman Critically Injured in Milford Dollar Tree Crash
MILFORD, DE—A 97-year-old woman sustained critical injuries on June 7 when a vehicle crashed into the Dollar Tree at Cypress Hall Shopping Center around 3:25 p.m.
Authorities reported that a gold Hyundai Elantra, driven by a 44-year-old woman, struck the storefront for unknown reasons. The vehicle traveled through the front of the store and collided with the elderly customer near the rear. Additionally, a 76-year-old woman was injured due to falling debris.
The critically injured woman was airlifted to a nearby hospital and is in stable but critical condition. The driver of the Hyundai was taken to a local hospital for treatment, while the 76-year-old woman was treated and released.
