RHAME, N.D. — A 19-year-old man from Pierre, South Dakota, died in a single-vehicle rollover crash on Sunday, Aug. 2.
According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, the incident occurred at 6:50 p.m. Mountain Time on 158th Avenue Southwest in Rhame, Bowman County. The victim was driving a 2023 Toyota Tacoma southbound when the vehicle went off the roadway, overcorrected, and rolled into the east ditch.
The driver was not wearing a seat belt and sustained fatal injuries. Road and weather conditions were reported as normal at the time of the incident. The crash is currently under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
Rhame is approximately 90 miles southwest of Dickinson.
