Northeast North Dakota crash claims life of identified man.

DUNSEITH, N.D. — A 49-year-old man was killed in a crash early Saturday morning, May 30.

According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, David St. Claire, of Dunseith, was driving southbound on 28th Avenue Northeast around 1:59 a.m. in a 2001 Silverado K1500 when he failed to negotiate a curve. He lost control and struck a tree.

St. Claire was not wearing a seat belt and was at the scene. Authorities stated the investigation into the crash is ongoing.

Dunseith is approximately 95 miles northwest of Devils Lake in Rolette County.
