DUNSEITH, N.D. — A 49-year-old man was killed in a single-vehicle crash early Saturday morning, May 30.
According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, David St. Claire, of Dunseith, was driving southbound on 28th Avenue Northeast around 1:59 a.m. in a 2001 Chevrolet Silverado K1500 when he failed to negotiate a curve. He lost control and struck a tree.
St. Claire was not wearing a seat belt and was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities stated the investigation into the crash is ongoing.
Dunseith is approximately 95 miles northwest of Devils Lake in Rolette County.
