LITTLE ROCK — A woman was found dead Saturday, two days after a vehicle crash near a railroad overpass in Little Rock.
According to authorities, the incident occurred on Thursday when the car, traveling on Interstate 30, crashed and fell approximately 30 feet below the overpass. Emergency responders arrived at the scene, but the driver and the other passengers sustained various injuries.
The woman, whose identity has not yet been released, was located later in the brush near the crash site. Medical personnel confirmed she was pronounced dead at the scene. The Arkansas Department of Transportation assisted in towing the vehicle, and the incident prompted temporary lane closures while the area was secured.
