Popular Musician Oliver Tree Dies in Helicopter Crash in Brazil
RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – October 8, 2023 – Singer Oliver Tree, 32, was among six fatalities in a helicopter crash on Sunday.
Authorities reported that the incident involved two helicopters, and an investigation is currently underway at the 42nd Police Precinct. A forensic examination has been conducted at the scene, and officials await reports from the Center for Investigation and Prevention of Aeronautical Accidents. The Civil Police of the State of Rio de Janeiro confirmed that the bodies of the victims will undergo forensic examination for identification, with comparisons made to existing records.

Prior to his death, Tree had revealed that his wealth would not benefit his family, stating, “My will is set up that when I pass, my family, no one's going to get a penny.” Instead, he established a foundation titled Dr. Oliver Tree's Art Grants for Baby Geniuses to distribute his earnings posthumously.
