Wilmington, DE – Aug. 9, 2026 – A two-vehicle crash near Wilmington's Hedgeville neighborhood left one man dead and another injured, according to Wilmington Police.
Shakur Wilmer, 24, died as a result of the collision, authorities said. He was a passenger in a vehicle driven by a 23-year-old woman, who also suffered injuries. Her condition has not been disclosed.
