WARWICK, R.I. (WJAR) — Two drivers faced charges following a crash on West Natick Road at Bald Hill Road on Saturday.
Authorities said 34-year-old Ashley Pare and 21-year-old Cody Cullen were charged with driving to endanger, street racing, and reckless driving. Cullen also faces a charge for failing to render aid.
According to the Warwick Police Department, the incident involved two vehicles racing when one crashed and the other allegedly fled the scene. The vehicle that remained required extrication for the driver and three passengers, all of whom were transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Witnesses provided descriptions that led police to locate the fleeing vehicle. The investigation is ongoing.
