Burrillville Crash Leaves Driver Injured
BURRILLVILLE, R.I. — A man was injured in a vehicle rollover crash on Broncos Highway Tuesday morning.
At approximately 11:18 a.m., police responded to reports of the crash near Lapham Farm Road. Upon arrival, officers found a Nissan Frontier on its side off the highway.
According to authorities, the 70-year-old driver, a man from Foster, was trapped inside the vehicle. Emergency responders extricated him and transported him to Rhode Island Hospital for medical care. The driver's identity and specific injuries have not been disclosed.
Investigators noted that it appears the vehicle left the northbound lane before coming to rest on the southbound shoulder.
The crash remains under investigation, and no further details were immediately available.
