VICKSBURG, Miss. — A two-vehicle crash on Fisher Ferry Road in Warren County resulted in the deaths of a man and his 13-year-old nephew on Nov. 12.
According to Sheriff Martin Pace, emergency services received a call at 8:40 p.m. regarding the incident in the 6000 block of Fisher Ferry Road. A northbound Nissan Altima reportedly crossed into the southbound lane and collided with a southbound Jeep Gladiator.
The Nissan overturned in the southbound lane. Both occupants, identified as John Hart, 37, and his nephew Jeremiah Hart, 13, were pronounced dead at the scene by Warren County Coroner Doug Huskey.
The Warren County Sheriff's Department and the Mississippi Highway Patrol are conducting an investigation into the crash. Further details regarding lane closures or towing were not available at this time.
