Authorities reported two injuries, one serious, from a head-on collision on Route 20 near the Northborough Police Station at 211 Main St.
The crash occurred around 6:30 p.m., prompting the closure of Route 20 in both directions.
Emergency responders utilized the Jaws of Life to extricate a driver from one of the vehicles. Both injured individuals were transported to UMass Memorial Medical Center.
