Two Fatalities Reported in Concord Crash Involving Tesla and Honda
CONCORD, MA — Two people died following a crash involving a Tesla Model 3 and a Honda Accord on Saturday, authorities confirmed.
The collision occurred at the intersection of Walden Street and Bristers Hill Road around 1 p.m. Five individuals sustained injuries in the incident.
According to police, 82-year-old John Hamilton and 85-year-old Paula Hamilton, both residents of Concord, succumbed to their injuries after being airlifted to Lahey Hospital in Burlington.
Two passengers in the Tesla, both 28 years old and from Tacoma, Washington, were also hospitalized. One has been released, while the other remains in treatment for non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the Honda, a 25-year-old man from Wilmington, is hospitalized, but authorities have not disclosed his condition.
Preliminary investigations suggest the Honda crossed the double yellow line, resulting in a head-on collision with the Tesla. The crash remains under investigation by local police, state authorities, and the Middlesex County District Attorney's Office.
