MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Two individuals were killed, and one was injured in a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 85 early Thursday morning.
According to Montgomery police, the incident occurred at approximately 2:15 a.m. on the southbound side near the Mitylene and Taylor Road exits. One vehicle was reported on fire upon officers' arrival.
Both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene, while a passenger from one vehicle sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries. The passenger was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Authorities have not released the names of those involved.
