Two individuals were injured in a collision involving a pickup truck and a Polaris Ranger Sunday afternoon in Maries County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP), the incident took place at approximately 1:20 p.m. on Highway 133, about two miles north of Dixon.
A 23-year-old man from Dixon was driving the 2025 Polaris Ranger southbound and was making a right turn onto a county road when it was rear-ended by a 2016 Ram 1500.
The impact caused the Polaris to veer off the right side of the road and collide with a fence.
Both the driver of the Polaris and his passenger, a 24-year-old woman from Westphalia, sustained moderate injuries and were transported by EMS to SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital in Jefferson City.
According to the Highway Patrol report, neither occupant of the Polaris was wearing a safety device at the time of the crash.
The Ram was operated by a 22-year-old man from St. Robert, who reported no injuries.
Both vehicles incurred moderate damage. The Ram was towed from the scene, and the Polaris was secured along the roadside.
