A vehicle crash closed a section of I-70 through Columbia on Tuesday morning.
The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) reported the closure of westbound I-70 past exit 128A due to the incident at approximately 8 a.m.
Traffic cameras indicated the roadway was obstructed past the I-70 and Highway 63 connector, with closures expected to last about 1.5 hours.
MoDOT advised drivers to seek alternate routes while the area remained congested.
No injuries or fatalities have been reported at this time. The investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
